Impact on the society and environment: -

-         Impact of Refugee issue on the environment(environmental impact): -

The settlement of refugees in rural areas entails deforestation to satisfy the need for wood for domestic purposes such as housing, heating, and cooking food. In addition to deforestation, two others types of environmental problems associated with refugees are land degradation= (ruin) and water contamination.  Refugee movements tend to produce uncontrolled modifications which can lead to serious disruptions of ecological systems, and the ecological impact.

-         Impact of Refugee issue socially(social impact):-

Different ethnicity= (society), however, can be a basis= (beginning) for problems. Traditional animosities= (dislike) may exist between groups. Even if it is not the case, failures in communication and understanding caused by language and/or culture can form serious barriers= (difficulties). In some cases, the presence of one (ethnic) group of refugees may affect ethnic= (cultural) balances within the local population and exacerbate = (make worse) conflicts.

-         Impact of Refugee issue on Economy(economical impact): -

Some refugees are teachers, some are carpenters. All their skills are used in various communities and together those skills help to build the economy of the country. While we host refugees we also benefit from the skills which refugees bring with them.

-         Impact on children: -
Young people also face particular challenges because of their age and experiences. They carry the scars of war and displacement with them. Some children are forced to flee alone. Although the children are very resilient some children experience: -
v  Physical and psychological effects of trauma.
v  Language and literacy difficulties due to disrupted or limited prior education.
v  Issues with identity and belonging.
v  Changing family responsibilities.
